Wenatchee, Vancouver NWPL clubs hit the ground running (videos)

North Central Washington Alliance are organizing with open gym time for players, the recent arrival of Ruffneck Scarves, and the development of a marketing strategy which is already paying dividends.

Tarr makes splash with Timbers

Washington Timbers FC recently announced the hiring of Kat Tarr as their first-ever Women’s team head coach. The announcement video has been viewed over 4,000 times and the NWPL Facebook page zoomed past the 500 likes mark in the wake of the hire.

Kat Tarr named head coach of Washington Timbers NWPL



VANCOUVER, WA— Washington state women’s soccer legend Kat Tarr has been named the first-ever head coach of the Washington Timbers FCNorthwest Premier League team.

In the videos above Tarr thanks the Timbers for the opportunity and opens up about her plans for the team in its first season in the NWPL.

She’s joined by WTFC President Steve Bowmer, who gives a detailed explanation as to why Tarr was the best pick for the job.

NWPL adopts new schedule, playoff formats for 2017 season

BREMERTON, WA—The Northwest Premier League (NWPL) held a conference call on Tuesday night January 17 in which the format for the 2017 season was decided. The women’s elite adult amateur soccer league will feature playoffs this year to decide its champion.

New club Alliance FC goes live on Facebook, kicks off open gym
