Snohomish County 6, Oly Town Artesians 5
Snohomish County held the Oly Town Artesians scoreless in the first half and built a 4-0 lead into the third quarter and held on down the stretch to take a 6-5 win on Saturday night. The win clinches a spot in the championship game for the Steelheads, who will travel to Tacoma to face the Galaxy in week 10. The winner of that game will host the championship game between the two clubs the following weekend.
Jordyn Bartelson scored twice in the victory along with four other players to lead Snohomish to the win. They are now 5-1-1 this season including two big victories over the Artesians, who needed a win to stay alive.
Oly Town got two goals from league leader Kailey Utley. Her season comes to an end with 24 goals in eight games, which is a new single season record for both men and women across the Western Indoor Soccer League and Northwest Premier League indoor.
