Emily Webster scored three times and Ashley Homer made numerous saves in goal to lead Bellingham United’s new women’s indoor squad to their first ever Northwest Premier League Indoor win, 7-4, over the Tacoma Galaxy at The ShoWare Center in Kent on Saturday night.

Peyton Fullner scored the first goal for Bellingham with 4:24 left in the first period and the Hammers built a 3-0 lead after Webster’s first goal with 4:17 left in the second quarter. The Tacoma Galaxy made it a 3-1 game just moments before halftime on Sophia Kim’s strike with 24 seconds left.

Bellingham went up 5-1 with a pair of goals in the third quarter including Webster’s second goal at the 9:18 mark and a strike from Stephanie Hamilton midway through the period that proved to be the game winner.
